Simon Andrews

Ruben Andrews

Principal

Ruben is the President and founder of Graphic Solutions, specializing in visual communications, sign planning, and design concepting. Throughout his career, he has been actively involved in the professional design community and has served as Principal on numerous award-winning sign programs. His work has helped shape distinctive environments for retail, commercial, and community destinations throughout California and beyond.

Ruben enjoys spending time at his beach property in Scorpion Bay, Baja California Sur and flying his single-engine Cessna.

Simon has been a principal with Graphic Solutions since 1976, bringing decades of experience in design concepting, sign planning, problem-solving, and building community consensus. He has directed numerous award-winning projects for public and private clients and has remained actively involved in San Diego’s design and civic community. What Simon values most about designing for communities is the intimacy and permanence of the work—the opportunity to create thoughtful, lasting elements that become part of a place and the everyday lives of the people who experience it.

In his free time, Simon enjoys climbing mountains around the world and spending time with his three grandchildren.

Artemisa Zuazo

Artemisa is an essential member of the Graphic Solutions design team, bringing together expertise in graphic design and architecture to create thoughtful, context-sensitive signage. She has a particular talent for applying color to architectural spaces and specializes in design concepting, construction documents, and construction administration.

Laura Fairbanks

Laura has been an integral part of Graphic Solutions since 2007, overseeing the day-to-day operations that keep the company running smoothly. As Operations Manager, she manages the firm’s bookkeeping and human resources.

Outside the office, Laura enjoys traveling overseas with her husband and spending time with her dachshund, Bandit.

Designer

Jordan Turkomani

Jordan brings experience in architecture, interior design, and graphic design to create thoughtful solutions tailored to each client. Her knowledge of materials, fabrication, and code-compliant design allows her to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver signage that is visually compelling, economical, and sustainable.

Beyond the studio, Jordan enjoys getting lost in a good book and expressing her creativity through floral arranging.

Designer

Roberto Rodriguez

Roberto holds a Master’s degree from the NewSchool of Architecture & Design and brings a multidisciplinary background in architecture, graphic design, and design engineering. His integrated approach combines aesthetics, functionality, and constructability, contributing to projects from initial design concepts through detailed construction documents.

Away from work, Roberto enjoys exploring museums and is always on the lookout for the perfect matcha latte.
