Public park entrance sign for Harbor Island Park in San Diego with trees, parked cars, and waterfront in the background.

In addition to supporting marine industries, hospitality, and other waterfront uses, the Port of San Diego manages 23 public parks spanning a 34-mile chain of waterfront public spaces. Graphic Solutions worked with KTUA and Port staff to develop existing design concepts across a collection of parks and public spaces, adapting to the character, setting, and functional needs of each location. The resulting program provides visitors with clear identification, orientation, and wayfinding while creating a cohesive visual experience along the waterfront. Graphic Solutions also developed detailed plans and specifications for fabrication and installation, helping ensure that the signage is durable, consistent, and appropriate for its demanding waterfront environment.
